• Exhibitor Fee: Free
• Exhibitor Count: 15 to 25, about 20 tables inside and space available outside for larger exhibits
• Space Provided (Indoor): 6ft x 2ft table & Folding Chairs Provided (power available on request)
• Space Provided (Outdoor): Gravel Lot or Grassy Yard (power available on request)

Our Goal

Our goal is to foster a group of like-minded thinkers by hosting inspirational and entertaining activities. We'd like to build to the point that we can host official Mini Maker Faires, but there are licensing requirements that must be met. Until we have the resources to host official Maker branded events, we are calling our event a Showcase.

Our plan is virtually identical to that of Maker Faire. From Maker Faire's website:
Maker Faire is primarily designed to be forward-looking, showcasing makers who are exploring new forms and new technologies. But it’s not just for the novel in technical fields; Maker Faire features innovation and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, art, performance and craft.

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. It’s a venue for makers to show examples of their work and interact with others about it. Many makers say they have no other place to share what they do. DIY (Do-It-Yourself) is often invisible in our communities, taking place in shops, garages and on kitchen tables. It’s typically out of the spotlight of traditional art or science or craft events. Maker Faire makes visible these projects and ideas that we don’t encounter every day.

We have partnered with the North Bend Sallal Grange to jointly host this event at their facility. Below is a rough idea for how the event layout is envisioned (the rectangle tables are 6ft x 2ft).
